Three burglars entered an unlocked home in the Village of Montebello at five a.m. Wednesday, March 29

.

The thieves located the keys to a car, and while the homeowner remained asleep, the burglars sped away in the homeowner’s car.

An investigation is still underway to identify the suspects and recover the stolen vehicle.

The Ramapo Police Department reminds residents to lock the doors to their homes as well as their vehicles and report any suspicious activity to the police department.
