Hochul: Inflation Checks Will Arrive This Fall

New Yorkers waiting on the promised inflation refund checks can now mark their calendars. Governor Kathy Hochul announced that the payments will be mailed out in October and November.

The checks, which were included in the state budget passed earlier this year, will range from $150 to $400, depending on income. About 8.2 million residents are set to receive them, with over 924,000 in Mid-Hodson alone.

Anyone who filed a tax return for the most recent year is eligible. Recipients can expect to receive their checks in the mail this coming fall.
