High-Speed Chase Ends in Crash at Spring Valley Auto Shop

A driver evading a traffic stop on North Main Street sparked a high-speed pursuit by Rockland County Sheriff’s deputies on Sunday evening. The chase came to a crashing halt at an auto mechanic shop at South Main Street and East Furman Place, where the suspect’s car slammed into several parked vehicles.
The driver tried to flee the scene on foot but was promptly apprehended by deputies. Currently in custody, the unidentified suspect is being treated for minor injuries by Spring Hill EMS.
Spring Valley Police responded to assist, as the wreck left a trail of damaged cars in the shop’s lot. No additional injuries were reported.
