Hatzoloh North District to Break Ground on New Headquarters in Pomona

Rockland Hatzoloh’s North District is preparing to mark a major milestone with the groundbreaking of its new permanent headquarters. The community is invited to attend the ceremony on Sunday, November 1s, at 11:00 AM, on Ladentown Road in Pomona, between Route 202 and North Camp Hill Road.

Work is already underway at the site, with crews clearing the property in preparation for construction. Once completed, the new headquarters will house the district’s ambulances and bring key operations under one roof, including dedicated training facilities, EMS equipment and supplies, and modern dispatching capabilities.

The project has been made possible through the generous donation of the property by Mr. John Lynn.

In remarks prepared for the ceremony, Mr. Naftoli Silberberg, Co-President of Hatzoloh EMS of Rockland County, expressed his appreciation: “I want to extend our thanks and appreciation to Mr. John Lynn, who opened his heart and donated this property to Hatzoloh.”

He emphasized the importance of the new facility, noting that it will provide volunteers with the resources they need while strengthening emergency medical services for the North Rockland community. “Today is the beginning of a new chapter in Hatzoloh’s magnificent history.”

For the volunteers responding to emergencies, the new headquarters will make a practical difference.

“When your radio goes off at three in the morning, every second counts,” said North District member Mordechai Eckhaus. He explained that having a central location for training, equipment, and supplies will help members remain prepared and ambulances ready for the next emergency.

The groundbreaking marks an important step forward for Hatzoloh's North District, strengthening its ability to serve the community today while preparing for the needs of a growing North Rockland.

The entire community is invited to join Hatzoloh for this historic milestone.
