Good Samaritan Hospital Extends Mother-Baby Visiting Hours

Families welcoming a new baby at Good Samaritan Hospital will soon have more time to celebrate together, as the hospital is extending visiting hours for its Mother-Baby Unit.

Beginning August 1, visiting hours on Shabbos only will be expanded from 9:00 a.m. until midnight, giving relatives and loved ones greater flexibility to visit new mothers and their babies during the first days after birth.

Hospital officials said the change is intended to better meet the needs of the community by allowing families more time to bond, celebrate the arrival of a new child, and support mothers during this special period.

Hospital officials also expressed appreciation to Aron Reiner of Bikur Cholim and Captain Abe Rosenberg of Rockland Hatzolah, whose efforts and advocacy helped make the expanded visiting hours a reality for families welcoming a new baby at Good Samaritan Hospital.
