Girls Schools’ Principals from Monsey and New Square Meet to Reinforce “Matza Tov” Wedding Takonos Initiative

Principals of girls schools from Monsey and New Square gathered Monday for a special meeting to strengthen the ongoing “Matza Tov” wedding takonos initiative.
The meeting comes about a year after the original “Matza Tov” gathering, which brought together thousands of people in an effort to reduce the financial pressures of marrying off. Since then, the initiative has had a clear impact, with many families benefiting from more manageable costs during simchos.
At the meeting, held at the Atrium Plaza hall in Monsey, the principal of the schools discussed the next phase of the initiative, with a focus on involving the girls' students. The goal is for girls in the schools to become part of the effort and help support the broader push toward responsible and realistic wedding standards.
Rav Chaim Feivel Schneebalg, Rav of Khal Avreichim, Rav Aharon Aryeh Eisenberg, and the Rebbetzin of the Bobov 45 community in Monsey all addressed the gathering.
The next step is the planned series of gatherings for the girls in all major schools in Monsey and New Square, which is expected to take place in the coming weeks aimed at reinforcing the message of “Matza Tov” and continuing to build momentum around the initiative.
