Garden State Parkway Service Area Reopens

The James Gandolfini Service Area on the Garden State Parkway, the first rest stop out of Monsey, has reopened after more than a year of extensive renovations.

Besides restrooms, the service area features a Dunkin Donuts and several food shops, as well as a market with travel essentials. The attached Sunoco Gas Station is expected to reopen next week. 

The Gandolfini service area was renovated as part of the $250 million project to overhaul all the service areas along the Garden State Parkway and the NJ Turnpike, and is one of the last ones to be completed.
