Garbage, Babies, And Early Voting Updates

By Idy Perl
Early voting is going strong in New York and thousands of voters are
making their way to the polls every day.
In Rockland County, 6,900 voters cast their ballots on Tuesday, with an additional 6,609 yesterday. Over a million early voters have already cast their ballots throughout New York.
The last few days of the election cycle have been pretty
eventful, to say the least. Following a not-so-funny and kind-of-offensive joke
at Trump’s MSG rally, in which a comedian called Puerto Rico an “island of
garbage,” Biden attempted and miserably failed to criticize the joke.
In a now viral clip, Biden tells a reporter that the only
garbage he knows are Trump’s supporters, which coincidentally includes roughly
half of the United States population.
In response to that, Trump donned a bright orange
vest yesterday and hopped onto a garbage truck decked out with Trump signs. He spoke
to the media from the truck for several minutes, condemning the joke made at the MSG
rally and Biden’s remark. At his Wisconsin rally later that day, at which he
showed up still wearing the orange vest, he said that “250 million Americans
are not garbage… You can’t lead America if you don’t love Americans.”
In addition to all the garbage drama, Biden celebrated
Halloween yesterday at the White House and welcomed several trick-or-treating
children. His interactions with the children have gone viral as well, as he is
seen playfully biting some of the costumed babies, one of which was dressed up
as a chicken nugget.
The election is only 5 days away, but who knows what might
still happen before November 5th…
