Well, it’s winter, and winter means the flu.
Cases of the flu are rapidly increasing across New York, with
cases doubling in recent weeks.
Between December 21 and 28 a total of 24,513 flu cases were
confirmed across New York State. Those numbers are a 50% increase from the week
before, when 16,342 cases were reported.
Of those cases, 505 were recorded in Rockland County, a significant increase from the week before, when 256 cases were reported.
