Flight Chaos as Multiple Airlines Suspend Flights Ahead of Lag Ba'Omer

With just one week left to Lag Beomer, major airlines have suspended flights to Israel following a missile strike near Ben Gurion Airport. The strike has led to widespread cancellations as carriers reevaluate regional stability. 

United Airlines has pulled flights through May 18, while Delta has extended cancellations until May 19. American Airlines has gone even further, suspending all service indefinitely. British Airways halted its routes until May 15, and Air France has frozen operations through May 13. Lufthansa, along with Swiss, Austrian, and other carriers under its group, have stopped flying to Israel until at least May 11. 

These disruptions are only expected to grow as tension remains high and airlines take a cautious stance on resuming operations.
