Last week firefighter recruits from local fire departments participated in an extrication training offered by the NYS Office of Fire Prevention and Control Extrication Course, hosted by the Rockland County Fire Training Center. 

The students learned and practiced vital techniques to rescue trapped victims from vehicles. This crucial training helps to elevate their skills and prepares them for the emergency situations they will encounter throughout their careers.
