Fire Hydrants Replaced at Rockland County Fire Facility Training Grounds
By Yisroel R.
Rockland County Fire and Emergency Services announced that four fire hydrants have been successfully replaced at the county’s firefighter training grounds as part of ongoing infrastructure improvements at the facility.
County officials said the work was completed in partnership with Veolia and is aimed at ensuring reliable water access during firefighter training exercises.
While some outdoor training activities have slowed due to the extreme cold temperatures currently affecting the area, improvements to the training grounds are continuing year-round, according to officials.
Fire and Emergency Services leaders said the upgrades help provide a safer and more effective training environment, keeping firefighters prepared to respond to emergencies across Rockland County.
