Finkelstein Memorial Library Books Its Next Expansion

Finkelstein Memorial Library in Spring Valley has shared plans for their upcoming expansion project slated to start this summer. 

The library's plans have nothing to do with books or other forms of media; instead, the library will be constructing additional classroom space for programs, counseling offices, a multicultural study center, and a large event space as well as a teaching kitchen.

"I really don't understand what any of this has to do with a library," one puzzled Spring Valley resident shares with Rockland Daily. "Perhaps they can consider making more room for expanding their selection? Since when is a library supposed to house a teaching kitchen?"
