Dump Truck Overturns Under Thruway's College Road Overpass

While driving down the NYS-Thruway this morning, a dump truck driver with the truck bed completely vertical attempted to drive under the College Road overpass resulting in his truck overturning after he made contact with the overpass.

The fire department extricated the seriously injured driver from the cab, where he was trapped inside.  

The Rockland County Highway Department is presently at the site to assess if the College Road overpass is safe for drivers after the collision.
