Double Hachnasas Sefer Torah at Scheiner’s Shul on Sunday

The entire Monsey community will witness a special double Hachnasas Sefer Torah event this Sunday, December 29th, at Bais Medrash Ohr Chaim. The event will celebrate the dedication of two new Sifrei Torah.

The celebration will begin at noon with the writing of the Sifrei Torah at the home of the Scheiner Family, located at 1 Celia Court, Suffern, NY. At 1:00 PM, a procession and joyous dancing will take place as they make their way to Bais Medrash Ohr Chaim, located at 18 Forshay Rd, Monsey, NY. Following the procession, there will be continued dancing and a buffet to celebrate the occasion.

This special occasion is dedicated Leuli Nishmas Mrs. Tzipporah Malka a”h, the grandmother of the Scheiner family, and Leuli Nishmas Rabbi Tzvi Kogan hy”d, the Chabad Shluach who was kidnapped and murdered in Dubai.
