Deadline to Apply for Early Mail Ballot Is This Saturday

By Y.M. Lowy

New York voters who plan to vote by mail in the 2026 General Election have until this Saturday, October 24, to submit an application online for an early mail ballot.

To use the online application, voters must be registered in New York State, and the address on their voter registration must match their current residence. Anyone who needs to update their address should submit a new voter registration form or contact their local Board of Elections for assistance.

With the deadline falling this Saturday, voters are encouraged to complete the application before Shabbos to make sure they don’t miss the deadline.
