David Breuer was officially sworn in as Fire Commissioner for the Tallman Fire District, beginning his new term in office.

Breuer had been appointed to the position several months ago and was recently elected by voters to serve a full term. His swearing-in formally marked the transition from an appointment to an elected term overseeing the district.

Following the ceremony, Breuer thanked the community for its support and emphasized collaboration with the entire community as key. “I’m thankful for the support of the community and humbled by the opportunity to serve as Fire Commissioner,” he said. “I look forward to working with my fellow commissioners, our firefighters, and district leadership to enhance safety for the Tallman community.”

Looking ahead, Breuer said his priorities include strengthening communication, increasing transparency, and improving response times, along with advancing other initiatives aimed at continuing to improve the department’s service to the Tallman community.
