Construction Burglar Arrested- And Then Released Without Bail

By Idy Perl
On April 8th Ramapo Police responded to a burglary at a building under construction in Airmont. When police arrived, they determined that copper piping was cut out and removed from the building.
Ramapo detectives and patrol officers were able to find the suspect vehicle and through that the actual culprit. Yesterday, April 11th, the suspect, a 53-year-old male from Suffern, was located and arrested for 3 felony charges, including burglary in the 3rd degree, criminal mischief to the 3rd degree, and grand larceny to the 4th degree.
The suspect had two outstanding warrants from the Village of Airmont and Montebello. The suspect was released without bail. Of course.
