Congressman Mike Lawler Hosts Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy At Westchester County Airport

Congressman Mike Lawler hosted U.S. Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy at Westchester County Airport this afternoon for a visit focused on airport safety, air traffic control upgrades, and infrastructure work.

During the visit, which was also joined by Deputy County Executive Joan McDonald, Lawler and Duffy toured the airport’s air traffic control tower and discussed new air traffic control equipment expected to be received by the airport through the Working Families Tax Cuts.

The group also received updates on several FAA-supported infrastructure projects at the airport, including runway improvements and terminal modernization efforts.

Following the visit, Secretary Duffy and Congressman Lawler held a press conference to highlight the visit and discuss the planned upgrades and infrastructure projects at the airport.
