Congressman Mike Lawler Announces Staffing Changes

Congressman Mike Lawler announced several changes to his staff in a statement today .
Notably, Rafi Silberberg, who served as District Director and is well known throughout the community, has now shifted and will serve as a Senior Advisor to Lawler. Silberberg has been replaced with Donna Chiapperino, who was promoted from Deputy District Director to District Director.
“It has been an honor to serve as District Director, and I am excited to continue working for the people of NY-17 in my new role as Senior Advisor," Rafi Silberberg tells Rockland Daily. "I’m committed to supporting and advocating for all constituents in the district, and I look forward to continuing our office’s success.”
Multiple other changes were announced, such as Andrea Grace, who left the Chief of Staff position to serve in the Office of Legislative Affairs in the White House, and was replaced with former Deputy Chief of Staff and Communications Director Nate Soule. Ciro Riccardi, who ran the 2024 campaign, is now back in his position as Communications Director and Senior Advisor. Courtney Kaufman has been assigned as Senior Policy Advisor and will handle Lawler’s Foreign Affairs.
