Community Leaders from Pomona, Wesley Hills, and New Hempstead Attend Meet and Greet to Endorse Chris Exias for Rockland County Family Court Judge

Community leaders and elected officials from Pomona, Wesley Hills, and New Hempstead met Sunday morning in Pomona to present a united front endorsement of the frum community for Spring Valley Village Justice Chris Exias as a candidate for Family Court Judge.
The event included rabbonim, elected leaders, and askunim of Wesley Hills, New Hempstead, and Pomona. It followed fast on the heels of similar meet and greets held for Airmont and Chestnut Ridge last Thursday and New Square last Friday, as reported by Rockland Daily here. Attendees of Sunday's event included Town of Ramapo Chief of Staff Mona Montal, Mayor of New Hempstead Abe Sicker; Mayor of Pomona Ilan Fuchs; Rockland County Legislators Aron Wieder and Joel Friedman, and trustees from the three villages.
"It's unusual for a candidate to receive such a unilateral endorsement from all facets of the entire community," Rockland County Legislator Aron Wieder shares with Rockland Daily. "It is a reflection on Judge Exias's track record, where he has made every effort to understand the nuances of every community regarding where they are coming from in order to pass the fairest sentencing possible for all parties. The community appreciates those efforts as is reflected in the strong support his candidacy has received."
