COMMUNICATED: Chavivim Announces Launch of Array of Shabbos Services

The Chavivim organization of Monsey will begin serving the community on Shabbos as of this week, with many crucial services being carried out by a non-Jew—in addition to its 24/6 services to the greater Rockland community.
Among the services being offered are non-emergency transfers, scheduled appointment transfers, important deliveries (such as necessary medications or food for patients), and bringing discharged patients home.
Although these services are approved and overseen by Chavivim’s Rabbinical board, the organization urges the community to ask their own posek in each particular situation before making use of services, even by a non-Jew.
