Clarkstown Police Department Holds Annual Award Ceremony

The Clarkstown Police Department held its annual award ceremony on Sunday at police headquarters. 

Chief Wanamaker presented nearly forty awards to department members; the awards ranged from life-saving acts to arrests for attempted murder. 

Also in attendance were thirteen students who were awarded scholarships. The Clarkstown PBA offers scholarships each year, two named in honor of past members; Chief G. Robert Schnakenberg and Det. Sgt James J. Doyle scholarships.
