Chavivim Welcomes New Members

By Idy Perl
Yesterday, Rockland Chavivim welcomed multiple new members to their team to grow their presence in the greater Monsey area.
Many of the new members are from outlying areas such as Stony Point, Pomona, Montebello, and Chestnut Ridge, to better accomodate the growing Jewish population in those neighborhoods. Chavivim has recently experienced a greater call volume in those areas, and is actively broadening their coverage around Monsey to be able to respond to these calls quickly and efficiently.
"We've surged from 50 calls per month to hundreds of calls per week just in Rockland county, a testament to the trust our community has placed in us," Chavivim supervisor Duvid Weiser tells Rockland Daily. "This remarkable growth has created a constant need for new volunteers to join our ranks, enabling us to continue meeting the community's demands."
