Chasunah Celebration Interrupted as Atrium Is Evacuated Due to Fire

Firefighters were called to the Atrium Plaza on Route 59 in Monsey for a fire shortly before 11 p.m. tonight.
While all of the wedding celebrants promptly vacated the hall, the firefighters entered the building to deal with the small blaze.
As per Rockland Daily's reporter on the scene, a flammable material caught fire from a falling candle. The fire was quickly extinguished by the firefighters before causing any significant damage.
No injuries were reported, and the wedding guests were allowed to return inside shortly after the blaze was put out so the simcha could continue.
