Brinks Robbery Memorial Ceremony Takes Place in Rockland

A memorial ceremony marking the forty-first anniversary of Rockland's deadly Brinks tragedy took place this afternoon.

Elected officials gathered with community members for the annual memorial that took place at the corner of Route 59 and  Mountainview Avenue in Nyack. 

The annual memorial honors the two Nyack police officers and the Brinks armed guard who were gunned down in 1981 by domestic terrorists.
