BREAKING: Gerer Rebbe to Spend Exclusive Shabbos in Pomona with High-Dollar Donors to Gur Rescue Fund

As we have reported, the Gerer Rebbe has spent this week gathering funds for an emergency rescue fund for the Olam HaTorah of Gur in Eretz Yisroel, which is experiencing a historic crisis in the wake of government cuts.

This afternoon, it was announced that the Rebbe has agreed to remain in America for Shabbos and spend these exalted days in the presence of chassidim, the home of his devoted chossid Reb Meir Frei in Pomona, Rockland County.

In order to merit participating in this historic Shabbos, donors will pledge $250,000 and above--a sum that numerous philanthropists from throughout the world are willingly parting with in order to be in proximity to the Rebbe during this special Shabbos, and assist him in this historic mission of rescue.
