Body Recovered In Hudson River At Haverstraw Beach State Park

On Wednesday evening, police recovered the body of a missing male in the Hudson River at Haverstraw Beach State Park.
The person had gone missing at around 4pm and was last seen entering the water at the park. Several agencies joined the search in the water, including fire departments, State Police, New York State Parks Police, and more.
Police recovered the victim in the water and declared him dead at the scene. Preliminary investigations point toward an accidental drowning.
