On Sunday, around 2:45 p.m., a body was found in the water near the Nyack Marina boat launch.

Emergency personnel arrived and pulled the body out of the water. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene. According to police, although her identity is known, it has not been released until her next of kin have been notified. 

The Orangetown Police Department Detective Bureau is investigating the incident.
