We regret to inform of you of the passing of Reb Chaim Shmiel Goldfinger, a longtime Monsey resident. He was 80 years of age. 

The niftar was born in Kfar Sava in Eretz Yisroel to his parents, Reb Moshe Yosef and Itta Pessel Goldfinger who were Holocaust survivors. 

He was raised in Brooklyn, and learned in the Bobover yeshiva. He would remain tethered to the Admorim of Bobov and Bobov-45 for the rest of life. 

Together with, tbl”ch, his wife, he raised a beautiful family of chassidim and yerei Shomayim.  

Reb Chaim Shmiel was unwell in recent years, and returned his neshamah to its Maker last night. 

The levaya will take place at noon today at the Bobov-45 Bais Medrash in Boro Park.
