BDE: Rav Dovid Eidensohn, zt"l

YS GOLD

We regret to inform you of the petirah of Rav Dovid Eidenson, zt"l, a longtime distinguished personality in the Monsey community. He was 82 years of age.

The niftar was born in Washington D.C., and came to learn in Lakewood, under Rav Aharon Kotler, zt"l, and he considered himself a lifelong talmid of the Rosh Yeshiva.

He was also privileged to have an extremely close relationship with Rav Moshe Feinstein, and many teshuvos in Igros Moshe are addressed to him.

He came to the Monsey community decades ago, and raised a beautiful Torah family in Monsey. Among his family are a number of talmidei chachomim.

Rav Eidenson was a scholar and talmid chacham who disseminated Torah hashkafah to many.

He was niftar this afternoon, and the levaya will take place 7:30 at his home, 2 Phyllis Terrace. Kevurah will take place in Eretz Yisroel.

Yehi zichro baruch.
