BDE: Rav Chaim Elozor Bransdorfer, z"l

We regret to inform you of the passing of Rav Chaim Elozor Bransdorfer, a distinguished and elder chossid of Toldos Avrohom Yitzchok in Monsey. He was 86 years of age. 

The niftar was born within the year of the passing of the Minchas Elozor of Munkatch and was named for him. His father was Reb Shloime Bransdorfer, and he was a brother of Rav Meir Bransdorfer, zt"l.  

He was raised in Yerushalayim of yore, and wad a close follower of the Shomrei Emunim Rebbe, and later of his son-in-law, and successor, the Divrei Emunah. He retained the memories and anecdotes from their holy and exalted lives throughout his life. He was a repository and a fountain of stories of the tzaddikim. 

He married the daughter of Reb Yehoshua Friedman, the gabbai of the Admorim of Skver, and he always retained a connection to the skverer chassidus. 

He left this world on 10 Cheshvan, the yohrtzeit of his mother, Rebbetzin Frimet Bransdorfer. 

The levaya will take place at 10:15 at the Beis Medrash of Toldos Avrohom Yitzchok, 21 Park Lane, in Monsey, and he will be taken to Eretz Yisroel for Kevurah near his parents and rebbeim.
