Yitzy Fried
Rockland Daily regrets to inform you of the passing of Reb Dovid Kadmi, a longtime Mohel in the Rockland area. He was 78 years of age.
Born in Yerushalayim, Rabbi Kedmi attended Porat Yosef Yeshiva. After studying to become a rabbi, he received ordination from the Chief Rabbinate of Israel and went on to earn certification as a mohel.
Earning certification in this practice is a long process, and Rabbi David Kedmi completed his education and internship with supervision from some of Eretz Yisroel’s most distinguished mohalim and rabbonim. He served his internship at a number of hospitals throughout Jerusalem, where he observed and also performed brissim.
He served as a mohel in communities around the world before coming to America and serving families throughout the Tri-State area.
He moved to his birthplace of Yerushalayim three months ago, where he was niftar over Shabbos. He was interred on Har Hamenuchos.
Yehi zichro baruch.
