BDE: R’ Pinchas Nuchem Zwiebel, z”l
YS GOLD
We regret to inform you of the passing of Reb Pinchas Zwiebel, a Monsey resident who was niftar on Sunday before Yom Tov. He was 53 years of age, and was unwell in recent months.
The niftar was born and raised in Satmar, but was brought close to the derech of Breslov, and he davened in Breslov and in Satmar.
He was known for his yiras Shomayim, simchas hachaim, and his love for Torah. His many beautiful Torah vertlach were printed in pamphlets named “Vayefalel Pinchos” that he published in honor of family simchos. These are being edited for wider publication, and will serve as an everlasting legacy to his neshamah.
He moved to Monsey in recent years. He was sadly diagnosed with a dreaded disease early this year, and was niftar before Rosh Hashanah.
The levaya took place on Sunday in front of the Satmar shul at 1 Monsey Boulevard, and Kevurah took place the same day.
Although the short shiva didn’t allow for many visitors to comfort the aveilim, the news of Reb Pinchos’ passing came as a shock to the many who knew and admired him.
Yehi zichro baruch.
