BDE: Mrs. Feiga Twersky, Sister of Rachmastrivka Spring Valley Rebbe

This morning the Rachmastrivka Rebbe of Spring Valley, shlit"a, was informed of the passing of his sister, Rebbetzin Feiga Yenta Twersky, a"h, in Eretz Yisrael.

The Rebbe accepted aveilus and began sitting shiva at his home in Monsey. 

The nifteres, Rebbetzin Feiga Yenta a"h, was the eldest daughter of Rabbi Mordechai Twersky, zt"l, the eldest son of the Rachmastrivka Rebbe, zy"a. She was married to her uncle, Rabbi Velvel Twersky, zt"l, son of Rabbi Yochanan of Rachmastrivka, zy"a.

Sadly, she had been unwell since birth, and after her condition deteriorated in recent days, she passed away this Monday. Her levaya is taking place in Yerushalayim, where she will be laid to rest on Har Hazeisim.

Besides the Rebbe, shlit"a, who is sitting shiva and will decide later today whether to remain in New York or travel to Eretz Yisrael to join his family, other mourners include her mother, the Rebbetzin, her sister, the Rebbetzin of Zvhil, wife of the Zvhil Rebbe, shlit"a, in Eretz Yisrael, as well as several other siblings in Eretz Yisrael.
