Assemblyman Aron Wieder Honors Rockland County Legislature Clerk Laurence O. Toole for 24 Years of Service

New York State Assemblyman Aron Wieder (D-District 97) presented a proclamation from the New York State Assembly to Laurence O. Toole, Clerk to the Rockland County Legislature, in recognition of his 24 years of exemplary service in that role since 2002.

The proclamation commends Toole’s leadership, steadfast support to all 17 legislators, efficiency, and professionalism, noting that he has earned the respect and admiration of legislators, colleagues, and Rockland County residents.

The presentation followed Toole’s recent unanimous reappointment by the County Legislature to another one-year term as Clerk.

“Larry Toole has been an outstanding Clerk whose dedication also extends to his service as a Trustee in the Village of Airmont and his many contributions to the people of Rockland County,” said Assemblyman Wieder. “This proclamation is a well-deserved tribute to his professionalism and leadership.

”Toole expressed gratitude, stating, “I am deeply honored by this recognition and remain committed to serving the residents of Rockland County.”

The ceremony took place in the Rockland County Legislative Chambers and was attended by legislators and local officials.
