ASHAR Students Participate in Annual Cemetery Cleanup Project
by M.C. Millman
Asher sixth and seventh-grade students spent part of their day yesterday cleaning the grounds at the Hebrew Free Burial Association Mt. Richmond Cemetery.
The annual cleanup endeavor is a follow-up to a visit by Andrew Parver from the Hebrew Free Burial Association. Parver spoke to students last week about kavod hamais on Thursday, November 9, to prepare them for the cemetery cleanup project they would participate in afterward.
On Thursday, November 15, the boys were ready for the annual visit to the cemetery, where they assisted in cleaning the grounds.
After concluding the cleanup, the boys enjoyed an outing to Top Golf in Edison, New Jersey.
