Arrest Made for Attempted Murder in Nanuet

This past Sunday, May 12, Clarkstown Police responded to an assault call in Nanuet. 

Upon arrival, police found a victim, aged 33, with stab wounds on his upper torso and right leg, which police swiftly wrapped with a tourniquet to mitigate blood loss. The victim said he had been stabbed by a woman during an altercation and that she had also sustained stab injuries. 

The subpect fled the scene, but police caught up with her with stab wounds on both arms. Police provided first aid and both victims were transported to the hospital. 

The suspect was placed under arrest and charged with two counts of Attempted Murder, two counts of Assault with a Weapon, Burglary, and Criminal Possession of a Weapon. The bail was set at $50,000.
