Aron Wieder Launches Campaign with First Fundraiser

Assemblyman Aron Wieder officially launched his re-election campaign this week at the home of Rockland County businessman and community activist Meyer Tauber, a longtime friend and supporter who hosted the campaign’s first fundraiser. The event drew local supporters, business owners, and community activists, all rallying behind Wieder’s candidacy.

In his remarks, Assemblyman Wieder spoke about the importance of having a strong voice in the system and how the right representation helps shape state policy and legislative bills. He highlighted the accomplishments he has already delivered for the community, as well as his vision and plans for the future. Wieder also noted that he has worked on issues beyond his own district, stepping in to assist wherever help was needed. One of Wieder’s key first-year accomplishments was bill A.6314-A, requiring insurance coverage for backup cochlear implant processors. Inspired by a constituent’s daughter, he took the issue to Albany, fought insurers, and rallied Assembly support to ensure families statewide would have coverage.

Host Meyer Tauber praised Wieder’s dedication, emphasizing that the Assemblyman’s office has always been accessible to constituents and that he personally followed up and updated people until their issues were resolved. Tauber credited Wieder with providing real results for the community and underscored why continued support for his campaign is vital.
