Apartment Fire Breaks Out In Blueberry Hill Condos

A fire broke out in an apartment in the Blueberry Hill condominiums, prompting a large response from local fire departments. The fire was started by an electric pot.
Heavy smoke was seen pouring out of the windows as firefighters fought to extinguish the flames. As of 3:50pm, the fire was officially contained and under control.
The emergency response teams on scene included the Spring Valley, Monsey, Hillcrest, Pearl River, West Nyack, and South Spring Valley fire departments, as well as Hatzolah, Spring Hill EMS, and Chaverim. The Monsey Fire Department's RAC unit was there as well to provide cold drinks and support to the emergency responders working in the heat.
Luckily, no injuries were reported.
