The Airmont Walmart welcomed shoppers this morning to a newly refreshed store, reopening its doors with a full community celebration. The updated space was unveiled to a crowd of customers and staff who joined the store team for the ribbon cutting.

As part of the ceremony, Walmart directed support to several local organizations. Representatives from nearby charities and St. Jude Children’s Hospital received contributions during the event.

Store leadership also shined a light on employees who have been part of the Airmont location for many years. Some team members have been serving customers for more than two decades.

Local officials attended the reopening, including the Mayor and Deputy Mayor of Airmont, along with the Town of Ramapo Chief of Staff. Officers from the Ramapo Police Department were present to help ensure the event ran smoothly.
