After 28 Years: Detective Chris “C.L.” Maloney Retires from the Clarkstown Police Department.

After more than 28 years of dedicated service, Detective Chris “C.L.” Maloney has officially retired from the Clarkstown Police Department.

Starting his career in 1996, Detective Maloney made a lasting impact in numerous roles, including as a field training officer (FTO) and school resource officer (SRO). Promoted to detective in 2007, he spent years in the Juvenile Aid Bureau, specializing in cases involving child victims, child offenders, and missing persons.

His commitment to guiding the next generation extended beyond investigations—he also served as the Director of Youth Court, helping first-time juvenile offenders find a better path.
