Abraham Klein has won the Conservative Party primary in New York’s 97th Assembly District, defeating Rob Bonomolo for the party’s line in the November election.
The win gives Klein a place on the Conservative Party ballot, while Bonomolo remains the Republican nominee in the race.
The November election is now expected to feature Klein on the Conservative line, Bonomolo on the Republican line, and incumbent Assemblyman Aron Wieder on the Democratic line, who is seeking another term.
The 97th Assembly District includes parts of Ramapo and Orangetown, covering a large portion of Rockland County’s frum community.
