$90 Million Is Set to Expire as New Yorkers Have Until Monday to Request Unfiled 2019 Tax Refunds

The IRS says 81,000 New York taxpayers have until Monday to submit their unfiled 2019 Taxes in order to be eligible for the nearly $90 million in refunds still available. 

For those who have yet to file and are owed a refund, the median tax refund comes to $945. As for the funds left after four years of patiently holding on to it to refund diligent taxpayers, after Monday, the government keeps all leftover funds.
