Watch It: Child Almost Hit By Vehicle That Goes Through Bus Stop Sign

A scary video that was sent to Rockland Daily shows the moment a car almost hit a child twice. 

The vehicle is first seen speeding up as a bus slows to a stop and starts putting out the stop sign. The driver finally stops alongside the bus and a young girl is seen getting off the bus and crossing the street in the back of the vehicle. 

For some reason, as if to correct their mistake, the driver starts backing up right when the child is behind the car. The bus driver quickly starts beeping to alert the driver, and he stops just in time. 

This close call only shows the importance of following the laws regarding bus stops. Stopping when a bus has its stop sign out can save a life.
