Violent Assault at Route 59 Gas Station in Spring Valley – Suspect on the Run

Spring Valley Police are investigating an assault that occurred around 12:30 a.m. at the 76 gas station on Route 59. 

A young man was struck with a forceful blow to the face, leaving him injured. Emergency responders, including Chaverim of Rockland and Hatzoloh, rushed to treat the victim, who was transported to the hospital for further evaluation and care.

Initially, authorities released the suspect after classifying the incident as a minor harassment. However, after gathering more information, police quickly launched a search for the individual and confirmed that a warrant for his arrest will be issued if he is not located.

Police are continuing their search and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
