Two Suspects Break into Pharmacy Plus in New Square During Early Morning Hours

As residents of New Square were beginning to arise on Friday morning, two criminals broke into Pharmacy Plus on Route 45 in New Square. Thankfully, aside from damage to the storefront, they did not take much with them as they escaped. 

The episode began around 6:18, when the suspects approached the establishment with a crowbar and a rock, and punched out the front door. 

Surveilance footage picked up by the store's cameras shows the way the suspects rummaged through the store aimlessly, not really knowing what they were after. 

After checking the register, which was empty of cash, they made their way through the aisles, but were soon scared off by the loud alarm--which also tipped off the local police. 

Ramapo Police was at the pharmacy in under a minute, but by then, the suspects had fled the scene. Ramapo Police is investigating the break in.
