The 100 Ride, Rockland County’s Only Bike Ride for Local Tzedakahs, Sees Major Growth

The 100 Ride—Rockland County’s only organized bike ride to benefit local Tzedakahs—saw tremendous success in its eleventh year. Founded by Rabbi Ari Senter and local askan Uri Kirschner, the event raised vitally needed funds for leading Rockland County Tzedakahs,  Tomche Shabbos and Kupas Ezra.

This year’s ride drew 110 riders, including nearly 30 new riders from emerging communities such as Airmont, Chestnut Ridge, Pomona, Haverstraw, and New City. The highest fundraiser, Yonah Rothman of Team Mindy, brought in an incredible $36,000, while first-time rider Zundel Berman raised an impressive $18,000. In total, the riders raised over $450,000, for Aniyei Ircha, families in need within the community.

Riders were treated to a delicious pre-ride dinner and a celebratory BBQ following the event.

Adding to the excitement this year was the participation of Senator Bill Weber, whose involvement brought an extra boost of encouragement and visibility to the ride.

With the 2025 ride now in the books, organizers, riders, and supporters are already looking forward to what 2026 will bring.
