Snow Squall Warning In Effect

By Idy Perl
The National Weather Service has put a snow squall warning in effect for Thursday morning in parts of New Jersey and New York, including Rockland County, as snow and strong winds move throughout the tri-state area.
Snow squalls are intense gusts of heavy snow that create blinding conditions seemingly from one minute to the next. Snow squalls limit visibility and can be dangerous for drivers and pedestrians on the road.
Occasional rain and snow will likely continue throughout the day.
