Skverer Rebbe Returns to Renovated Residence, Affixes Special Mezuzah at Private Room Entrance

As previously reported several weeks ago, major renovation work was undertaken at the residence of the Skverer Rebbe, shlit”a.

During the three weeks when the Rebbe stayed in California for vacation, the private room of the Rebbe and the surrounding roomx were completely rebuilt and upgraded.

After the renovations were completed, the original furnishings that have stood there for many years - from the previous Skverer Rebbe, zy”a - were brought back into place, including the seforim shelves and all the surrounding items, which have long been steeped in a lofty sanctity. Additionally, the Rebbe’s chair, used by the Rebbe for decades, was beautifully restored. The chair was originally donated and now refurbished through the generosity of Harav Hagaon R’ Yosef Yisroel Eisenberger, shlit”a, the dayan of Skverer Shikun.

This past Thursday, upon returning to his residence, the Rebbe, shlit”a, affixed mezuzahs to the new spaces. At the main entrance to the private room, the Rebbe installed a special “Kadsheinu Mezuzah,” one of the sacred mezuzahs he distributes to chassidim who undertake personal kabbolos in the areas of technology and tznius.
